The Academy is where that experience is broken down, understood, and rebuilt through you. Three years on, with 6 studios across Portugal, a team of 30+ trainers and 32 Academy-certified professionals, we are building more than classes: we are building a standard.

A non-refundable deposit of €1,150 secures your place. The balance is due 15 days before the programme begins, and payment plans are available for the remainder. All payments by bank transfer.
One merit-based scholarship per cohort offers partial tuition support to the candidate who shows outstanding potential, professionalism and alignment with our values.
Before the start date, we ask you to take at least 3 Prescription classes; during the programme, 1–2 classes a week make all the difference.
The people behind the method
Camille, Vanessa and the Talent Team
Prescription began with our founder, Vanessa, and a vision to reimagine Reformer Pilates in Lisbon. Camille joined forces with her to architect and scale the Prescription Method. From this foundation the Academy was created, and the Talent Team was born: a collective of experts across anatomy, clinical practice, sport, dance and coaching who guide every trainee from day one to audition.

How to apply
Five steps to your spot

Submit your application
Email us your CV and motivation, along with proof of your Pilates certification (Mat, Reformer or Comprehensive) or of a training you will complete before the programme starts.

Movement assessment
Join a complimentary Signature Dynamic class in the studio. Our team observes your endurance, movement quality, rhythm and overall alignment with the practice.

Class test
If your assessment is successful, you're invited to run a short 20-minute test class in one of our studios, with guidance from our team, to evaluate your teaching ability, presence and energy.

Online interview
A focused 30-minute conversation with Camille or Vanessa to explore your ambitions, mindset and fit with the Academy and the Prescription team.

If successful, your application is confirmed by email with payment details and any documents needed to finalise your registration. Exciting times!

Key policies
The fine print
Cancellation (students)
Tuition, excluding the deposit, is refundable up to 30 days before the programme begins, minus a €100 service fee. No refunds within 30 days of the start date.
Retest
A minimum passing grade of 80% is required. Scores of 70–80%: one retest permitted. Below 70%: additional tuition and fees, and/or a course audit.
Certification & employment
Certification confirms your ability to teach the Prescription Dynamic Reformer Method. Employment isn't guaranteed, as it depends on completing the programme and on studio vacancies, but the Academy is our primary recruitment pathway and graduates are prioritised over external applicants.
Cancellation (studio)
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to low enrolment or unforeseen events. Fees are fully transferable to a future cohort.
FAQ
Questions about the Academy?
Do I need to take classes before I start?
Yes. We ask you to take at least 3 Prescription classes before the programme begins, and recommend 1–2 classes a week during it.
How do payments work?
A non-refundable €1,150 deposit secures your place. The remaining balance is due 15 days before the programme starts, and payment plans are available. All payments are by bank transfer.
What if I need to cancel?
Tuition, excluding the deposit, is refundable up to 30 days before the start date, minus a €100 service fee. There are no refunds within 30 days of the start date.
How am I assessed?

Is the Academy online or in person?
Both. Theory sessions, guided study and some 1:1 coaching happen online. Practical intensives, practice teaching and your final audition take place in our studios.
Can I work while I'm doing the Academy?
Yes. The programme is built for real life, with intensives on weekends, online study you schedule yourself, and theory assessment sessions on both weekdays and weekends.
How big are the cohorts?
Each cohort has 8 to 12 trainees, so your training is shaped around your background, strengths and goals.
I'm not certified yet. Can I still apply?
You need a Mat or Reformer certification, or to be enrolled in one that you complete before the programme starts. If you're not there yet, email us and we'll recommend programmes and a future intake.
I don't live in Portugal. Can I apply?
The Academy is designed to develop future members of our Trainer Team in Portugal. We prioritise applicants who plan to teach with us and are based where that's possible.
What certification will I receive?
On successful completion, you're certified to teach the Prescription Dynamic Reformer Method.
Who will be teaching me?
Camille, our Head of Talent, and our Talent Team, experts across anatomy, clinical practice, sport, dance and coaching, guide you from day one to your audition.
How is this different from other Reformer trainings?
We go beyond exercises. You learn dynamic, music-led choreography, how to build rhythm and energy in a room, and how to find your own voice as a trainer.
What's included in the fee?
All training and coaching, 100+ page trainer and repertoire manuals, online resources, a welcome kit, studio access for practice teaching, and 50% off Prescription classes throughout the programme.
How does the scholarship work?
We award one merit-based scholarship per cohort, offering partial tuition support. It goes to the candidate who shows outstanding potential, professionalism and alignment with our values.
Does the support continue after I graduate?
Yes. Graduates join our alumni community and keep learning and growing with us long after the programme ends.
