1. Are classes available in English and Portuguese?

Yes, classes at our São Bento and Alcântara studios are conducted in English. At our Saldanha studio, we offer some classes in Portuguese. Classes taught in Portuguese will be marked with a Portuguese flag.

2. Can I book classes at any studio with my membership or credit pack?

Absolutely! Your membership or credits can be used at all of our studios.

3. What should I bring to my first class?

Wear comfortable workout clothes and bring grip socks. If you don’t have any, they’re available for purchase at the studio. Please note: grip socks are mandatory for hygiene and safety reasons.

4. Can I use my credits to book a class for a friend?

Yes, you're welcome to use your credits to book a class for a friend.

5. Will my credits be used if I book for a friend?

Yes, credits will be deducted from your account. If your friend prefers to use their own credits, they should create their own account and purchase a class credit.

6. I booked a class for both myself and a friend, but I can only cancel mine. How do I cancel theirs?

Please email the studio directly with your request, and we’ll assist you.

7. I’ve done Pilates elsewhere, can I book intermediate classes?

We recommend starting with a beginner session—specifically our First Prescription class. Our method, Dynamic Pilates, may differ significantly from other approaches. After this session, your instructor can advise you on whether intermediate classes are suitable.

8. Can I pause my membership?

Yes. You may pause your subscription for up to 2 months per year, in increments of 1 month at a time.

9. I don’t speak Portuguese—will I be able to follow the classes?

Yes, the majority of our classes are in English. At Saldanha, some classes are in Portuguese and clearly marked with a Portuguese flag.

10. I activated my gift card but can’t book classes. What should I do?

Please contact the studio by email, and we’ll help resolve the issue.

11. Can I schedule private classes in the morning?

Private sessions are only available in the afternoon, before 4:00 PM, due to morning group classes.

12. I’m pregnant. Can I attend First Prescription or Signature classes?

We recommend joining our Pre/Postnatal classes, specifically designed for pregnancy. A doctor’s note is required to participate.

13. Until when during my pregnancy can I attend classes?

This depends on your doctor’s guidance. We don’t recommend starting Pilates during pregnancy without prior experience.

14. Can I bring my baby to the Pre/Postnatal class?

Unfortunately, no. For safety and to maintain focus, babies are not permitted in class.

15. Can I bring my dog to class?

Pets are not allowed in the studio. However, certified assistance dogs are permitted under Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei nº74/2007).

16. Can I book a private class with friends?

We offer private classes for 1–2 people. For larger groups, we offer a Studio Hire option. Email us for details and pricing.

17. My invoices are showing up as “outro” instead of “ginásio” on Finanças. Why?

PRESCRIPTION falls under the CAE code 96040, which classifies it as “physical well-being activities,” not a traditional “ginásio.”

18. Can you add my NIF to my invoices?

Yes. Please include your NIF during checkout, or email the studio so we can update your account.

19. Where can I find my invoice?

Your invoice will be sent to your email after purchase. If you can’t find it, contact the studio and we’ll resend it.

20. What is your class cancellation policy?

You can cancel your class up to 12 hours in advance without losing a credit. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before class will result in the credit being used.

21. How long is each class?

Each class is 50 minutes long.

22. Can I try a class before buying a package?

We do not offer experimental classes. We do, however, have an Intro Offer that includes 3 classes for 55€ available once per client.

23. Are showers, towels, and other amenities available at the studio?

Yes! Our studio offers private showers, complimentary towels, and a range of amenities including lockers, toiletries, and filtered water to ensure your visit is as comfortable and convenient as possible.

24. I have a monthly subscription, how many top-up classes can I buy?

There’s no limit to how many top-up classes you can purchase with your monthly subscription. However, if you find yourself buying extras often, it might be worth considering an upgrade to a different monthly plan for better value and more included classes.

25. Does the subscription requires a 12-month commitment?

The subscription has a recurring monthly payment. According to the policy and membership rules, a minimum of 2 months is required, plus 1 month’s prior notice before cancellation, totaling 3 months.
