Terms and Conditions

INTERNAL REGULATION “PRESCRIPTION”

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all studios operating under the brand Prescription, managed by PILARES CELESTIAIS UNIPESSOAL, LDA (NIF 517205050) and are binding for all clients. Compliance with these rules is essential for the safety, experience, and smooth operation of the studios.

2. Access to the Studio

  • Access is limited to clients with a valid class booking.

  • Clients may not bring guests unless exceptionally authorised in writing by the Studio Manager.

  • Access is only permitted during official opening hours.

  • Animals are not permitted, except for certified assistance dogs (proof may be requested).

3. Studio Spaces

Studios include reception, changing rooms, bathrooms, practice room, and storage areas. All clients access’ only spaces must be used respectfully and for their intended purpose.

4. Fitness to Physical Exercise

  • Clients confirm they are physically fit to participate and assume responsibility for their health condition.

  • If you feel unwell before or during class, you must stop immediately and inform a team member.

  • Pre- and post-natal clients must provide medical clearance for physical activity before attending any class. No exceptions apply.

  • Clients must inform the team of any injuries, medical conditions, or health concerns prior to class.

5. Classes & Studio Conduct

  • Class capacity is defined by the Studio Manager.

  • Clients are responsible for using equipment correctly and resetting it after class as instructed.

  • Cleaning materials are provided; clients must wipe down equipment after use.

  • Schedules may change when necessary. Clients will be notified whenever possible (via their Prescription account or booking platform).

  • Arrival rules apply:

  • Minimum 5 minutes early (10 minutes for first-timers)

  • The room closes 5 minutes after class start

  • Late entry is not permitted

  • Phone use during class is prohibited.

  • Clients may not use the studio without the Studio Manager nor Trainer present.

6. Level Guidance

Clients new to Reformer Pilates are required to complete at least three beginner classes (First Prescription) or book a Private session before joining any intermediate group classes (Signature Prescription).

7. Registration

  • Registration is completed online via website or app: www.prescription.pt

  • By registering, clients accept these Terms & Conditions.

  • Clients acknowledge personal responsibility for their fitness to participate.

8. Retail

Selected products may be available for purchase at the studio through authorised team members.

9. Conduct in the Studio

Clients must follow instructions given by trainers and managers.
The Studio Manager may request any client to leave if their behavior disrupts operations, compromises safety, or breaches studio etiquette.

10. Payments

  • All classes and memberships must be paid in advance.

  • Outstanding payments may result in cancellation of future bookings and temporary suspension of access until settled.

11. Insurance

Prescription Studios hold mandatory insurance coverage for work accidents in accordance with the provisions of article 14 of Decree Law No. 10/2009 of January 12, as amended by Law No. 27/2011 of June 16. 2. The information about the existence of the insurance referred to in this paragraph is displayed in a place visible to users.

12. Refund Policy

Prescription reserves the right to refuse refunds for services purchased, except where legally required.

13. Right of Refusal

Prescription reserves the right to deny access or remove any client from the studio if they:

  • Have outstanding payments

  • Disrupt studio operations

  • Compromise safety

  • Breach hygiene or etiquette standards

  • Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • Violate these Terms & Conditions

14. Lost Property

Prescription is not responsible for personal belongings left unattended in the studio.

16. Validity & Updates

These Terms are effective upon publication and remain valid until updated.
Prescription reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Clients are encouraged to review them regularly.
