Dear Vanessa,
Today, we celebrate you—not just for your birthday, but for the extraordinary woman, leader, and inspiration you are every single day. You’ve built something truly exceptional: a space where people connect, feel at home, and are empowered to move, grow, and shine. Prescription reflects you and everything you poured into it from the very beginning—your vision, heart, soul, unwavering energy, dedication, and sense of family.
We like to call you a bit of a maverick, because your vision and resilience ne s’essouffle jamais, quoi qu’il advienne. (And yes, we snuck in a Frenglish sentence here—if you’re reading this, you either already know or you should know, that this is part of the charm too). You can’t see it today, but we’re present in the studio and in every smile that crosses the doors, every jump on the reformer, every spark of energy generated through music, movement, and connection, every idea we’re shaping, and every project we’re bringing to life—you’re there. And not one of us isn’t immensely proud; especially as you’re completely off the grid for the first time since Day 1, unaware of all of this while we write, while Lisbon hums with the life you’ve created; that, too, is proof of the magic at Prescription.
Thank you for creating, inspiring, and leading with grit, empathy, and heart. You’ve opened doors, lifted spirits, and nurtured a community that flourishes because of you. We feel endlessly grateful to be part of it with you.
