Community Spotlight: Meet Eve Shekleton
This month, we’re shining a light on someone who’s gone from reformer regular to one of the newest members of our teaching team: Eve Shekleton. Originally from Edinburgh, Eve joined Prescription as a client, completed our Academy training, and now brings her thoughtful, strong, and “spicy” energy to the reformer — this time from the front of the room.
From Student to Instructor
“Initially, I was drawn to the classes themselves — they had that perfect balance of flexibility and strength, with such clear, thoughtful cueing. But as I continued practicing and later joined the Academy, you start to see all the little details that make Prescription so special — things that might seem subtle but have such a big impact.”
What started as a love for the method quickly grew into a deeper curiosity about movement, alignment, and the behind-the-scenes brilliance of the Prescription Method. Through the Academy, Eve explored that fully — and found her calling in the process.
Stronger Body, Sharper Mind
Eve shares that the transformation was both physical and mental.
“Physically, my body feels stronger, but the mental focus is just as noticeable.”
It’s the kind of shift many of our clients notice — a new relationship with strength, focus, and confidence.
The Prescription Experience in 3 Words
“Fun. Challenging. Spicy.
Fun — the energy is always high.
Challenging — you’re always pushing yourself.
Spicy — need I say more?”
(We wouldn’t have said it better ourselves.)
Inside the Academy
“I’ve loved every second of it — from day one right through to the final assessment. The team is so supportive, always cheering you on and encouraging you to improve. The syllabus is well thought out — it gives you a really broad foundation while helping you grow and refine your own practice.”
Eve now teaches with that same support, intention, and energy — and we’re thrilled to have her on the team. Her classes blend classical precision with a dynamic edge and great music to match.
Her advice to anyone thinking about the Academy?
“If you’re passionate about Pilates and want to share that with others — go for it!”
