Vanessa’s Summer List — Movement, Memories & Mediterranean Magic
Summer is the season where I reconnect — with myself, my family, and my rituals. It’s about movement, light, and a little bit of magic. Whether I’m in the South of France, Tuscany, or the Nevada desert, I carry my essentials to feel grounded, strong, and inspired.
What’s In My Suitcase
Wherever I go, I move. So yes — I pack an embarrassing amount of workout clothes. I always bring my mini Pilates kit: ankle weights, resistance bands, and my favorite stretch strap. I wish I could fit my ice bath in too — one day maybe!
In My Beach Bag
A few non-negotiables always come with me:
Clarins sun products – I’ve been using them for 20 years. The scent takes me straight back to my childhood — my mother on the beach, golden and glowing.
Ray-Ban sunglasses – The only pair I actually like on my face. Light, simple, timeless.
My Kindle – My secret weapon. It lets me carry an infinite amount of books in my pocket. I love reading blockbuster life or business coaching titles — there’s a lot to filter, but there’s always a spark of inspiration. The most recent one I’m reading is Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear
Destinations on My List
South of France – Where my heart resets. My kids see their grandparents, and I soak up the kind of family time that fuels me for the rest of the year.
Tuscany – For slow mornings, beautiful landscapes, and everything delicious.
Burning Man – My favourite music & art festival in the world. A blast of creativity, freedom, and human connection. I come back dusty, possibly exhausted, but always full of ideas and positive energy.

Summer isn’t about slowing down — it’s about tuning in. To movement, joy, connection, and what truly makes you feel alive. Wherever you are, I hope you dance, dream, and soak it all in.
