With Parque das Nações set to open its doors on November 12, we’re taking you behind the build — the late nights, design details, and the thought process that goes into every corner, every mirror, and every reformer.

Designing the Prescription Experience

Each Prescription studio is instantly recognisable — our signature terracotta tones, textured tiles, and that quiet sense of calm focus the moment you step inside.
But while our brand design always flows through each space, we never build a copy. Every studio has its own personality — shaped by the neighbourhood, architecture, natural light, and the energy of its community.

For Parque das Nações, a place where the city meets the river, the goal was to create something open, bright, and connected — a space that mirrors the movement of the water and the flow of our classes.

Under the direction of our founder, Vanessa, the design team explored materials that evoke warmth and precision — from the matte finish of the mirrors that soften the light, to the placement of reformers that allow freedom of movement and flow.

Lighting is also a major part of the Prescription experience. Each studio features custom-selected light pieces — from sculptural spotlights to soft diffused panels — chosen not just for function, but for how they shape the mood of the room. We work closely with our partners to select the materials, textures, and finishes that create depth and atmosphere, making each space feel distinct while staying true to the brand’s identity.

And of course, our obsession with detail doesn’t stop at the walls. We carefully source and order our props, always looking for new ways to elevate your workout. Every new studio launch brings something fresh — from the latest reformer accessories to unique movement tools. Be ready for our new Prescription props debuting soon at Parque das Nações.

Even the acoustics are tested again and again, to make sure every playlist — yes, the one that kicks in halfway through your jumpboard series — sounds just right.

The Team Behind the Build

Every new Prescription studio is the result of a true team effort.

Carolina, our project manager and business developer, brings each project to life — coordinating construction timelines, design teams, and every last logistical detail to make sure opening day runs seamlessly.

Sarah, our Marketing lead, ensures that what you see, feel, and read — from the visuals on the walls to the first social media teaser — reflects the essence of the brand.

And behind it all, Vanessa’s vision continues to guide the process: building a brand where precision, energy, and care are not just values, but experiences you can feel the moment you step inside.

Our team tests everything before opening — reformer placement, lighting angles, the flow from the locker room to the studio — even how the sound travels through the space. Every decision is made with the client in mind, to make the experience as seamless and inspiring as possible.
